Privacy Policy

Bano is a bathroom map. There’s no sign-in, and we don’t collect or store personal information about you.

1. Information collection

Bano has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a password, so we don’t have them. The data in Bano is about restrooms, not people, and it’s contributed by the community. If you allow location access, your device uses it to show bathrooms near you — we don’t keep a history of where you’ve been.

2. Information use

We use community-contributed data to keep the map accurate and useful, and anonymous, aggregate analytics to see what’s working and what’s broken. None of it is tied to a real-world identity, and we never sell, rent, or trade data. Bathrooms and notes you add are shown publicly in the app, so please don’t include personal information in a contribution.

3. Accuracy

Listings are community-contributed and provided “as is.” Hours, access, and conditions change, so use your own judgment about where you go.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above always shows the current version.
